The Achielle range consists of three series: Ebike, Urban and Classic.
But what exactly is the difference?
Let’s start with the easiest, the ebikes.
These are all Achielle bikes with a motor. This is always a Steps Drive-unit from Shimano.
This category consists of both traditional ebikes, but also Longtails and Bakfiets.
The next category is the Classic. Again, you can take this quite literally.
These are bikes inspired by the first half of last century, but of course equipped with the necessary contemporary comfort.
This category consists of models such as Omer, Louise, Sam, Babette,… Here you can choose from a completely naked configuration
to a full-option package, including hubdynamo and Shimano Nexus 8.
With the Urban line we go one step further. Here we combine the classic Achielle steel frame with the most modern components.
The most important features here are the Carbon Gates belt, hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano, 8 gears from the Shimano Alfine line and the high-end hub dynamo lighting from Busch&Muller.
The Urban range consists of 4 models: Oscar with the classic men’s frame, Otis with the café racer frame, Ophelie with a low step-through with curved toptube and Olivia with straight toptube step-through.
